An enclosed heavy duty group 31 deep cycle marine battery system is neatly tucked away within the rails. By running a standard tractor/trailer light cord out of the back of your towing truck into the port on the Model 8, you provide a trickle charge to the battery as you travel down the highway.
Other features include a handy on/off switch for the battery system, a magnetic amber revolving warning light and a port build into the back of the wrecker to plug in light bars, etc.
